Locations of the Client and Administrator:

The Privia client and the Privia Administrator tool are located in a standard location on all Privia Application Servers usually in the download folder.

Uninstalling the Client:

Uninstalling the Privia software is done through the Control Panel. You MUST to be logged in as the user that installed the Privia client in order to properly remove the registry entries that were built when it was installed.

To Uninstall the Privia Application on Windows 7 Windows 8 and Windows 10  you would go to Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features. 

From the Programs and Features Menu you can select the Privia Client Software and use the Uninstall button found on the page to uninstall the software from your computer.

Once you have uninstalled the software you can install the new one directly from your Privia Server. In general the location of the client will be:

    https://SERVERNAME.privia.com/privia/download/PriviaClient.exe

And the administrator tool will be:

    https://SERVERNAME.privia.com/privia/download/PriviaAdmin.exe

WARNING: Uninstalling the Privia client will wipe out your cache. This mean that any documents that are currently checked out will be destroyed and not recoverable. 

    YOU MUST CHECK IN ALL DOCUMENTS BEFORE UNINSTALLING THE CLIENT.

Notes: 

When Installing the two applications you need to change SERVERNAME to the name of the your server, if you don't know this information you can contact your Privia Administrator

You might need to contact you Internal IT department if you do not have install/uninstall rights for software
