This is most likely due to the user not having sufficient permissions to edit the opportunity data. Under Privia's current model, in order to edit opportunity data you need to given specific data permissions.

Solution:

1. To give a user permissions follow the below steps:
2. Make sure you are the opportunity owner 
3. In Web Click on "All Opportunities"  in the Left hand navigation pane
4. Locate the specific opportunity you want to modify permissions on and drill into it 
5. In the header bar locate the tab "Permissions" in the second row of controls on the "Opportunity View" page and click on it
6. In the Sub Menu click on "Data"
7. Use the dialog to give edit rights to all or specific users.

Note:

There is no way to change the default setting for launched opportunities. Each opportunity must be edited to adjust permissions.
