When the Privia Platform Client is uninstalled, the local cache will also be lost. This includes local versions of documents recently viewed and more importantly, documents checked out for editing. 

In order to ensure any edits made to a document that is currently checked out, you will need to check them back in to Privia, so the changes are not lost during the uninstall.

To find which documents are currently checked out by your user:

1. Log into the Privia client 

2. click the search button towards the top of the window

3. Select locked files

4. Observe the documents that are currently locked by your user and decide which need to be checked back in before uninstalling
